Comma Separated Values (CSV) refers to text items separated by commas. CSV format, however, does not work well in countries where the decimal point is a comma. To make this feature more international, Query Studio uses tabs rather than commas to separate text values in CSV files. Cognos maintains the term CSV for its recognition value.
